Holy Trinity Catholic School in Dubois County has hired Jon Temple as its new principal at the East Campus, which serves Third through Eighth Grade. Jenna M. Temple, an Indianapolis native who has more than a decade of experience in teaching, coaching and administration, has served as social studies teacher at the school since 2015.
“Jon has made a great impact at Holy Trinity, said Father Gary Kaiser, pastor of Precious Blood Parish in Jasper and Priest Delegate to Holy Trinity. “He has the respect of staff, students and parents. His enthusiasm for both education and our faith is apparent. I look forward to working with both Jon and Jenna as we serve Dubois County.”
“I am humbled and honored to be chosen to serve as Holy Trinity’s next principal,” Temple said. “We are blessed in Dubois County to have a dynamic and supportive group of Catholic parishes and priests. I have witnessed first-hand the tremendous successes and growth our school has achieved over the past three years. Moving forward, we will build on our accomplishments, and always pursue new and creative ways to help foster students’ academic and spiritual growth. This includes working collaboratively with our supporting parishes, priests and Dubois County community. Together, we will continue to live our school mission: ‘Come to Learn, Go Forth to Serve, and Trust in the Divine Providence.’”
“Last year’s theme in Diocese of Evansville schools was ‘Called to Serve;’ I’m excited for the 2018-19 school year, as Jon and I personally answer the call to serve and step into new roles within Holy Trinity Catholic School,” Seng said. “As our enrollment continues to rise, the opportunities for our students to engage in rigorous academics and grow spiritually are made possible by the hard work of our dedicated staff and our 11 supporting parishes. Together, we’re preparing our students for high school and beyond.”
